This semester is a
perfect educational experience for students who seek the opportunity to
experience and understand the beauty and importance of the ocean
ecosystem. Students will have the opportunity to ‘dive’ into their
school work for a semester. Students will learn in a beautiful
environment. This semester will be your opportunity to learn while scuba
diving in the exotic ocean environment. Student planning careers in
environmentalism, conservation, archaeology, history, geography,
research, education, underwater photography, underwater video,
environmental travel, tourism careers and many other fields of study
will benefit from this semester exploring the coral reefs. Research
divers participate will be trained to participate in all aspects of
underwater research projects. Photographers will have the opportunity to
photograph the beauty that surrounds you.
Tuition includes (up to
12 credit hours available), Housing (12 weeks), Island Safaris and
Island boat tour, full set of scuba equipment (wetsuit, BCD-buoyancy
compensation device, weight belt, mask, fins, regulator, underwater
writing slate, equipment bag, electronic RDP - student keeps all scuba
equipment and books), college credit transfers, use of underwater camera
and strobe, all boat fees, transportation to and from all dive trips and
research projects, participation in research projects, and registration
fees.

tourist quality accommodations (included in tuition)
Does not include: Air fare to Phuket,
Thailand, meals except when on diving tours - lunch is provided on boat days. Estimated student food cost for the

packages (scientific or adventure) are available for educators.
Participants journey to the Similan Islands, the islands of Phuket, Phi
Phi or venture into the Mergui Archipelago of Myanmar. We offer daily
excursions or you can indulge in a life experience upon our live-aboards.
